Holy Sculpted Plastic Batman! Mattel announces 1960′s Batman TV Show Action Figure Series!

Mattel has acquired the rights to produce action figures based on the 1960′s Batman TV series! According to License! Global:

“The 1960′s Classic Batman TV Series line, which will be released next year, is based on the original television series starring Adam West and Burt Ward.”

For years there have been issues over merchandising but with recent deal struck between Warner Bros and 20th Century Fox we will most likely see more and more swag rolling into stories, including the absent DVD sets that have never been produced!! I’m personally looking forward to a Caesar Romero Joker figure!
