Sin City: A Dame To Kill For- adds Willis, Liotta, Piven, and Temple

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For keeps adding more actors to it’s cast every week. Last week, we heard that Joseph Gordon Levitt and Josh Brolin had joined the ensemble; and today we get news that: Bruce Willis, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, and Juno Temple are all being added to the foray. The Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez directed adaptation from the comic of the same name is due out October 4th, 2013.

Bruce Willis will be returning to the role of Hartigan; but we don’t know yet, who the three actors will play. So, I think that we should have some speculation! Given that Temple is a pretty big name, she COULD be one of the women of Old Town, OR maybe even the ‘Dame’ herself; though not likely. Given that Liotta is mostly known as a bad guy, he could be Damian Lord, who is husband to the ‘dame’. As for Piven, I’m not so sure. It’s been a while since I read the comic, and he could be just thrown in for fun. Whoever they are playing, I’m excited to see more big names added to this already awesome cast.

In addition to those four, the film will also star: Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke, Dennis Haysbert, Jamie Chung, and Jaime King.

It’s also confirmed that the film will be shot in 3D. Rodriguez seems very excited about the film’s new dimension!

“We’re really playing with stuff because that’s a very two dimensional world and to see that stylization in 3D, it’ll blow people’s minds. 3D hasn’t been used like this yet.”

Keep checking back at DFAT for more, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For news.
