We’ve been pretty excited about the upcoming Mad Max movie, Fury Road. Tom Hardy will be stepping into the dusty boots that Mel Gibson made so famous, as the legendary renegade, “Mad” Max Rockatansky. Hardy will play a “guardian who agrees to protect a convoy as they cross the Wasteland in a War Rig.” From what we can tell, it will be a sequel to Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

Along with Hardy, the film will also star: Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nathan Jones, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The movie is directed by George Miller and is due out sometime in 2014.
