Rob Zombie‘s newest flick, The Lords of Salem, looks just as messed up as all of his other films. It features a bunch of crunchy hicks who kill people in horrific ways. I will see it, I will not like it, and as much as I respect Zombie as an artist and a musician; I will continue to scratch my head as to how he is still a filmmaker. In the meantime, those of you who love Zombie’s work (and I know there are a ton of you); check out the newest images from the film below.
Here’s the synopsis for The Lords of Salem:
Heidi (Moon Zombie), a radio station DJ, receives a wooden box containing a record. Heidi listens and the bizarre sounds within the grooves immediately trigger flashbacks of Salem’s violent past. Is Heidi going mad or are the Lords of Salem returning for revenge on modern day Salem?
The Lords of Salem is due out April 26th, 2013. The movie stars every horror actor between 1970-1984. Zombie hints that a new trailer is due out this week and you can catch it here at DFAT first!
