I finally got around to watching the pilot for Arrow last night and let me tell you, I am impressed! The show had a strong public opening, actually being the most watched show on the CW in the past three years!! I can understand why, Arrow has it all! Great acting, great mystery, and great action!! I liked how the first episode reveals only what you need to know about what happened on the island, called Purgatory Island, to make it relevant for now, as the season progresses we will see what happened!! Many questions were posed in the first episode: how and why Oliver Queen became such a badass, who can Oliver actually trust now that he’s returned, what kind of trouble was his father in and what is the true importance of the list, and why is Deathstroke’s mask in the very first scene of the show, what role did he play on the island during those 5 years!!! The pilot for Arrow gets 4 outta 5 stars, I am looking forward to the rest of the season and the preview reel from NYCC only got me more excited!! Check it out:

I am so happy with the premiere of Arrow last week! This looks like such a great show, and I can’t wait for tonight’s episode. My coworkers at DISH and I watched the premiere together last week, and even they all loved it, without being huge comic book fans like me. I am recording the entire season with my Hopper so that I can re-watch the season after it airs. I think that this can be the best new show on TV this season, and I really can’t wait to see the villains we see in the NYCC reel!
I am finally going to watch the premiere tonight. Then watch the new one. I heard they will be adding some more Batman villians along the way! Can’t wait!l
