What do you think of Dr. House, Hugh Laurie starring in a swash-buckling pirate series based on the infamous Blackbeard? From Luthor creator Neil Ross comes Crossbones which is being presented currently to NBC. Sounds kinda cool right? The story takes place in 1715 on the Bahamian island of New Providence. The story follows pirate Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard, as he reigns over “the rogue nation of thieves, outlaws, and miscreant sailors. Part shantytown, part marauder’s paradise, this is a place like no other on earth – and a mounting threat to international commerce.”

Production for the next installment of the hit BBC series Sherlock has been put on hold from its original start date of January until March of next year. Series stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek 2, The Hobbit) and Martin Freeman (also starring in The Hobbit) have very busy schedules currently but will be back to solving mysteries in no time!

Andrew Kreisberg already has one hit superhero show on his hands with Arrow, but he claims that work on Booster Gold is coming this holiday season! Check it:
“I got a little waylaid by Arrow. Booster Gold is going in the next couple weeks before Christmas. We’ll see what happens from there. It’s such a different project even though they’re both DC Comics properties. Booster is much more candy and popcorn, being about time travel and changing the future and being a superhero who can fly. But they’re both super-fun projects. As a lifelong DC Comics fan, I am beyond blessed to be working on these projects with all these amazing characters.”
