Just the other day we revealed a series of photos from A&E‘s upcoming Psycho prequel, Bates Motel, brought to us by Carlton Cuse of Lost fame. The show will premiere this upcoming fall and today we are lucky enough to get a couple of teasers from the show. I am grateful that they seem to be going with an extremely creepy vibe, a la, American Horror Story. Let’s hope that Cuse doesn’t bring in too many Lost elements and keep the story tethered in reality though. As we all know, what’s real is always much more scary than the Supernatural.

“Bates Motel” serves as a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film, “Psycho,” and promises to give viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates’ (Freddie Highmore) psyche unravels through his teenage years and just how deeply intricate his relationship to his mother, Norma (Vera Farmiga), truly is.
Bates Motel premieres on A&E this Spring.
