2015 just called, and it has your Back to the Future II Hoverboard!

The time has finally come kiddos, the time of THE HOVERBOARD. We’ve been waiting more than 20 years for this moment and now we can get our hands on a Hoverboard from Mattell. From the creative mind of Bob Gale, you can pre-order your very own Back to the Future II movie prop. Now, even though the board doesn’t exactly hover, it does have the same swoosh sounds from the movie. Head on over to the MattyCollector website HERE; and pick yourself up a copy for a mere $130 plus tax.

Great Scott, film fans! You won’t need a flux capacitor to fulfill your density because the first ever Hoverboard prop replica from the classic Back to the Future™ trilogy is right here.

Developed in conjunction with the original films’ special effects supervisor, Michael Lantieri, prop maker/special effects expert, Mary Anne Lantieri, and the co-producer and co-writer of the trilogy, Bob Gale, and fully sanctioned by Universal Studios, this is a 1:1 scale model (measures approximately 28″ x 8″ x 3″). Our Hoverboard is based on the best features of the more than 30 slight variations of Hoverboard props used in the classic film series, and includes authentic “whooshing” sounds sampled directly from the films and a deco featuring Mattel logos just like in the films. And although full hovering technology isn’t expected until 2015, be assured your Hoverboard will gently glide over most level surfaces (it will not, however, work on water).

Hurry up and pre-order your Hoverboard before they sell out!
