Tron: Legacy sequel seems to be finally be closer to getting made!

We haven’t really heard much from the sequel to Disney’s 2010 Tron sequel, Tron Legacy, in quite some time. Well, it seems that new Disney Studios head, Alan Horn, is making the sequel a priority. Horn is approaching Jesse Wigutow to pen the script, with Joseph Kosinski attached to return in the directors chair. Wigutow hasn’t really written anything of worth, his last feature film was 2003′s Michael and Kirk Douglas‘s, It Runs in the Family. You don’t know that movie? Exactly.

I’m hoping that the script makes a little more sense than Legacy at least. As much as I loved the visuals and soundtrack of that movie, the plot left little to be desired. We’ll keep you posted as more Tron 3 news comes in here at DFAT!
