We don’t really have any plot details on what’s going to happen in the upcoming Jurassic World film. So, in true Hollywood fashion, people are speculating that the Colin Trevorrow directed film will be a reboot. Trevorrow made sure to squash those rumors ASAP.

“Reboot is a strong word,” he said. “This is a new sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park.”

Thank Odin! I couldn’t take a reboot of one of my most beloved films. There’s no need for it. You can maybe make the CGI a bit better in the original due to time, but other than that the film is perfect. I’m glad that Spielberg is attached to the project, because he knows how to make the fans happy. I can’t wait for this movie!

Jurassic World has a June 12th, 2015 release date. Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall will produce the film that’s written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes). The film stars: Bryce Dallas Howard and Jake Johnson, and possibly a whole lot more people who are just rumors for the moment.
