fantastic-four-fox-movie-bannerMatthew Vaughn (X-Men:First Class, Kick-Ass) is jumping aboard the Fantasic Four reboot, this can only be good news! After the success of X-Men: First Class, Fox understands what it takes to put a great movie together. Joining director Josh Trank (Chronicle), Vaughn will help produce the film, while Mark Millar tells them what is cool or not. A dynamite creative team? I think so! Vaughn is currently also producing the most recent X-Men movie, Days of Future Past. Look for the new FF movie to hit theaters hopefully sometime 2015!

In a  recent interview with Crave Online, director Bryan Singer had this to say in regards to “cleaning up” the different pathways that the X-Men movie franchise have taken:

Singer continues to tease the multiple timelines and his desire to  address a few continuity issues.

Singer:  Yes, that’s the answer to your question [on is this the X-Men 3 Singer wanted to  do and will this film ‘fix’ things]. And a lot more because this combines the  stories and the casts of both X-Men: First Class and my original X-Men films, so  I get to do a little bit of that kind of fun stuff, but I also get to do a lot  more. It’s a very epic story. It takes place in multiple times and a crazy, crazy cast.

Singer also shared with IGN, a little insight about his decision to cast Peter Dinklage’s role in the upcoming film. After a lot of speculation on the role that Dinklage would be playing, Singer seems too have supressed at least the craziest of the lot:

“He’s not going to be a CGI character, he’ll be himself. Not that he’ll be playing Peter Dinklage, he’ll be playing this character. It’s not a shy character. He’s just such a phenomenal actor; I’m a huge fan of Peter’s and Game of Thrones. He was my first choice and I was really happy [about the casting]. It’s so funny to talk to him because he does that impeccable accent [on Game of Thrones] and then you talk to him and he’s this guy from New Jersey.”
