In Norman Reedus‘ first ever Reddit AMA, the actor was asked many questions concerning the making of The Walking Dead; but he was also asked about the status of Boondock Saints 3. The film has been in a bit of a hiatus, reason being, they’ve been waiting on Reedus. He’s gained a ton of notoriety from The Walking Dead, but he’s back on board to star as Murphy McManus again.
Reedus was also asked if Sean Patrick Flanery would return as well. He replied, “Yeah it’s on. In the works, happening. Sean would be great on the show he’s a real life ninja.”
A lot of people didn’t like the second film, but I loved it. I thought it took a lot of great elements from the original, and added a bit of a Godfather 2 twist to the story. I can’t wait to see the return of The Saints and with Flanery, Reedus, and director/writer Troy Duffy all involved, I can only imagine it’ll be great.
