Disney has released the first trailer for 2015’s Cinderella. The film will star Lily James (Downton Abbey) as Cinderella and Cate Blanchett (The Hobbit) as the “evil” stepmother. I thought that maybe with director Kenneth Branagh (Thor) we would see more of an epic telling of this tale like they did with Maleficent, but it looks as if Disney is preserving the classic story and Branagh is toning it down compared to his superhero outing. This is another entry as these classic tales are retold as a live-action story with fantasy elements of course. Cinderella is due out on March 13th, 2015 and also stars Helena Bonham Carter, Nonso Anozie, Hayley Atwell, Ben Chaplin, Holliday Grainger, Derek Jacobi, Richard Madden, Sophie McShera and Stellan Skarsgård.
