Welcome to the dead of summer and welcome to another week of lackluster releases. What’s good this week? Not much.
We see the release of the Kevin Hart/Will Ferrel comedy Get Hard where a Bernie Madoff wannabe is headed to jail and wants to get tough in order to survive. He enlists the help of Kevin Hart to make it happen. I didn’t see this movie and nor will I most likely anytime in the near future. What say you Towelites?
One film that I had no idea existed but looks at least decent is Last Knights starring Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman. I remember a time when it meant something when Freeman was involved in a project, but those times have gone by the wayside. So I won’t be in any kind of rush to see this one.
Another film hitting disc is The Gunman and while this movie has a decent cast and crew, again no rush on it.
Well that about sums up another boring week of Blu-Ray releases. Let’s see what next week will bring. But really you should be out enjoying the summer weather instead of watching movies inside.
