Previous images had led me to believe this movie would be taking place in the past, Vin Diesel would have a beard, and he’d kill witches. It would basically be Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters; just with Diesel. Instead The Last Witch Hunter takes place in modern times and looks like a subpar ripoff of Krod Mandoon and The Flaming Sword of Fire. Never heard of it? Well, that’s a damn shame.

The Last Witch Hunter is due out on October 23rd, 2015. The film stars: Riddick, that red-head from Game of Thrones (Rose Leslie), Kevin from Sin City (Elijah Woods), and Austin Powers’ Dad (Michael Caine)
