Last week’s winner, Ouija, came in dead tied with newcomer Nightcrawler. The thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal managed to bring in $10.9million and opened to fantastic reviews. Yet, this weekend was Halloween and audiences were still in the mood for scares and Ouija continued to satisfy that need for fear.

The other opener this weekend was the re-release of Saw. It didn’t even scratch the Top Ten and probably didn’t make it’s money back in marketing costs. In good news, Gone Girl has now exceeded $136.6million. The film is now the biggest grossing film that David Fincher has ever directed. You can see the rest of the Box Office winners below.

1. Nightcrawler $10.9 million

2. Ouija $10.9 million

3. Fury $9.1 million

4. Gone Girl $8.8 million

5. The Book of Life $8.3 million

6. John Wick $8.1 million

7. St. Vincent $7.8 million

8. Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day $6.5 million

9. The Judge $3.4 million

10. Dracula Untold $2.9 million

Next week, we shall see two huge contenders enter the Box Office arena. In one corner is the release of the Disney and Marvel mashup, Big Hero 6. The footage I saw at New York Comic Con solidified the fact that the movie is going to be completely epic. In the other corner, we have Christopher Nolan‘s Interstellar. The film will undoubtedly make a ton of money, but my bet is with Big Hero 6. Kids haven’t really had much to go to since The Book of Life, and with it getting colder, it’s going to be a good way for parents to distract them.

Stay Tooned to the next Weekend Roundup and find out what happens!
