This weekend was a bit of a weird one at the Box Office. We had the premieres of Ben Affleck and David Fincher’s film, Gone Girl, going up against The Conjuring spinoff, Annabelle. Given that we’re in the month of Halloween, I had thought that Annabelle would be the clear winner; but it seems that I was SLIGHTLY wrong. Gone Girl just barely took the Top spot with $38million; edging out Annabelle which brought in $37.2million.
The close battle took down last week’s winner, The Equalizer; which took in another $19million. Not too shabby as it beat out family friendly film, The Boxtrolls, with $19million and $12.4million respectively. Check out the rest of the Top Ten below.

Next week, we have the ‘Untold’ story of Dracula, as well as Robert Downey Jr. not being Iron Man in The Judge. Both movies have a pretty good possibility to take the Top Spot at the Box Office and you’ll just have to Stay Tooned to find out what happens on the next edition of Weekend Roundup!
