It was pretty much determined from the get-go, but SPECTRE went on to take the #1 position at the Box office once again this weekend. The 007 sequel was really only battling The Peanuts Movie, which did well on it’s own as it took the #2 spot. The James Bond film brought in another $35.4million, bringing it’s domestic today to over $130mil. Peanuts did well with another $24mil and has an overall total of $82.5mil.

The newcomers to the game were Love the Coopers and The 33. Even though they didn’t make a ton of cash, they also didn’t cost nearly as much as the big two; and overall, their standings put them in pretty good positions to be considered hits. They each took in $8.4mil and $5.8mil respectively. The rest of the Top Ten are below.

1. Spectre $35,400,000
2. The Peanuts Movie $24,200,000
3. Love the Coopers $8,400,000
4. The Martian $6,730,000
5. The 33 $5,850,000
6. Goosebumps $4,650,000
7. Bridge of Spies $4,289,000
8. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo $2,400,000
9. Hotel Transylvania 2 $2,350,000
10. The Last Witch Hunter $1,500,000

Next week, we’re going to see a huge shakeup of these standings as the final Hunger Games film is set to be released. There’s no doubt that the film will be a Box Office success, but just how much will it make on that crucial opening weekend? Find out on the next edition of Weekend Roundup.
