I cannot be more happy that The Force Awakens continues to be a Box Office juggernaut. The film has surpassed Titanic as the 2nd biggest domestic film of all-time and making it’s way to take down Avatar.  The Star Wars sequel brought in aanother $88million and was #1 for it’s third weekend in a row.

The rest of the Top Ten didn’t fare all that bad, with Daddy’s Home bringing in anotherr $29mil and coming close to $100mil overall. That’s great news for the Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg combination film. You can see the rest of the winners below!

1. Star Wars: The Force Awakens $88,300,000
2. Daddy’s Home $29,000,000
3. The Hateful Eight $16,240,000
4. Sisters $12,580,000
5. Alvin & the Chipmunks 4 $11,800,000
6. Joy $10,400,000
7. The Big Short $9,000,000

9. Point Break (2015) $6,845,000
10. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 $4,625,000

Next week, I have no doubt that Star Wars will be #1 again. The only questions are: How much will it make? Will it overtake Avatar? With the film not opening up in China until the 9th, I don’t think we’ll have those answers til then, but you’ll have to find out on the next edition of Weekend Roundup.
