If you’ve been a frequent visitor here to DFAT, then you have no doubt that I’m a pretty big fan of Danny Elfman. I’d say that he is hands-down my favorite composer of all-time. Even before I knew Oingo Boingo, and they are one of my favorite 80s bands; I got to know Elfman through the music of Batman and then continued on through his career that’s been paired with director Tim Burton since the very beginning. If you were lucky enough to see his Lincoln Center concert this Summer, then I hate you and love you all at once. If you’re like the rest of us, you’ll have to tune in to PBS on October 30th.
