I wasn’t fortunate enough to see the premiere episode of the upcoming SyFy show, 12 Monkeys, while at New York Comic Con. Things got crazy as usual and we ran outta time. It’s pretty unfortunate too, because judging by the trailer below, the show looks like it’s going to be just as weird as the Terry Gilliam movie that starred Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt.
Here is the official synopsis:
12 Monkeys, starring Aaron Stanford (Nikita, X-Men: The Last Stand, X2), Amanda Schull (Suits, Pretty Little Liars), Noah Bean (Nikita, Damages) and Kirk Acevedo (Fringe), follows the journey of a time traveler (Stanford) from the post-apocalyptic future who appears in present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will eventually decimate the human race.
12 Monkeys premieres at 9pm on January 16, 2015 on SyFy. It stars Amanda Schull, Kirk Acevedo, Barbara Sukowa, Noah Bean, Tom Noonan, Emily Hampshire, and Zeljko Ivanek.
