Bates Motel is one of the few new shows that I’ve embraced in recent years. I’m a pretty big fan of the Hitchcock film, Psycho; and this show does a good job of blending what you know from the original, while adding many creepy layers of unknown on top of it.
The show centers around Norman (Freddie Highmore) and his mom (Vera Farmiga) in their early years as they deal with living in a town that’s completely messed up. The upcoming season promises more hidden agendas with the residents of White Pine Bay. Check out our first teaser for the new season below; as it pays homages to the Hitchcock classic.
Classic Norman, spying on the new tenant Annika Johnson played by Tracy Spiridakos. Let’s see if he brings chocolate syrup to the shower when the show returns in March.
