This week Gordon investigates a murder at the circus where a familiar name gets dropped into our laps.  Penguin is having trouble running his new nightclub.  Fish Mooney is starting to gain control of the population at the prison, Barbara has returned to an unusual welcoming party at Gordon’s place, and Bruce finally gets a backbone and starts to clean house at Wayne Enterprise.

Gotham Blind Fortune Teller 02The Good

  • Gordon is on a date with Leslie at the circus and all of a sudden a fight breaks out amongst the clowns and the acrobats. The Flying Graysons are introduced in this episode.
  • Gordon investigates a woman’s murder at the circus. There is a lot of finger pointing within the circus people about who killed Lila, the woman who got murdered on circus property.
  • A blind psychic working for the circus tries to throw off Gordon by shifting the suspect to a satanic cult called the Hellfire Club, but he sees right through the ‘psychic’. On his gut feeling, Gordon reveals that Lila’s son, Jerome, has something to do with Lila’s murder. At first Jerome is shocked, but then gleefully confesses to killing Lila.
  • Jerome’s behavior is epic. I can’t get that smile and creepy laugh out of my head.  Is he the Joker?! I think so!
  • Penguin’s new business club is not doing so well, especially when he allows his mother to croon the audience. Victor Zasz brings a ‘reprogrammed’ Butch along to help Penguin run the club.
  • Barbara returns but gets a rude awakening when she sees Gordon passionately kiss Leslie at the station.
  • Fish has a new family now and will do anything to keep her power..
  • Bruce gets up the courage to confront the Wayne Enterprise board members and accusing them of underworld corruption, bribery, and unethical medical practices that involve the Arkham Project and the developing of chemical weapons.
  • Leslie is a good influence on Gordon than Barbara ever was. It is nice to see Gordon have a good time.

Gotham Blind Fortune Teller 01The Bad

  • With Barbara coming back, I think that Leslie will be out of the picture soon, that’s too bad. Don’t you think it was a little weird that she wasn’t a little more freaked out about having street urchins living at her place?
  • Was Jerome established to be the young version of the Joker? Is he a red herring? Will we see him again? These are all unanswered questions.
  • I’m just guessing where Fish is at. I think it is a prison, because one of the guards mentioned inmate, but I’m not sure.
  • What did Zasz do to Butch to make him so compliant?
  • Please no more singing performances from Mrs. Cobblepot, she makes me uncomfortable.

Next week Fish gets to meet the Manager, and Bruce fights with the Board to gain control of Wayne Enterprises.
