This week while the Winchesters investigate the disappearance of a prison inmate in his securely locked cell they stumble upon and old adversary.  Crowley is having mommy issues with Rowena, and Dean finally faces Cain in the ultimate battle.

Supernatural Executioners Song 01The Good

  • Cain is back, and he is on a killing spree to erase his bloody history
  • Rowena questions Crowley’s way of ruling the underworld. He is starting to get suspicious of why she is starting to take interest in his life, after she abandoned him three hundred years ago.
  • Castiel finds Cain in his killing fields. He tells Castiel that by systematically getting rid of his descendants, humanity will be better off.  Castiel calls it a massacre.  Cain calls it genocide.  He tells him to be careful, or else he will be on his kill list.
  • Dean discovers that the First Blade is the only thing that can destroy Cain and possibly cure him. He needs the Blade from Crowley.  Rowena is frustrated that Crowley is helping the Winchesters.  She calls him “the Winchester’s B@#tch”
  • Sam, Dean, Castiel, and Crowley find Cain at one of his intended targets. They trap him in a devils trap.
  • Dean and Cain fight. Cain beats the living crap out of him, but Dean still keeps fighting.
  • It’s a brutal beating, and Cain almost kills Dean but he suddenly pulls a knife and lops off Cain’s hand that is holding the Blade.
  • Dean gives Cain a choice to stop his killing spree, but Cain tells him that he will never stop. Dean kills him with the First Blade.
  • Dean gives the Blade to Castiel and he secures it in a safe place.
  • Crowley goes back to the underworld, only to find Rowena packed and ready to leave. She tells him that she needs some time apart.
  • Sam tells Dean that things are looking up now that Cain is dead, and everything is going to be okay. When Dean is out of listening range, he warns Castiel that Dean is in serious trouble.

Supernatural Executioners Song 02The Bad

  • I’m happy that Dean is able to stop Cain, but the anger is still inside him and sooner or later he will explode. In the end, killing Cain did nothing to help Dean.
  • Now that Cain is dead, what are the Winchesters going to do in saving Dean?

The story of Cain and his bloody past is explained in more detail this week.  Dean faces his ultimate test when facing Cain.  Sam is terrified that after his encounter with Cain, Dean is getting worse.  It seems like Dean’s fate is not looking good.
