A very campy, cheesy, but fun loving episode this week, Sam and Dean find themselves at a funeral and will reading for one of Bobby’s mysterious old friends. Dean finds Bobby’s old cell phone and notices a bunch of messages about a rich woman named Bunny, who left something for Bobby in her will. Thinking that it may be money, the Winchesters head off to Connecticut to claim Bobby’s inheritance and just leave, but people keep dying at the Bunny residence. Everybody’s a suspect including the help. By the instruction of the attorney for the will, everybody is to stay in the house over the weekend until the will is read. The Winchesters and Bunny’s relatives are stuck in the house with a murderer on the loose. Whodunit???

Supernatural Ask Jeeves 01The Good

– Dean keeps referring to the butler as Belvedere or Alfred is hilarious.
– Watching Dean drink a cinnamon roll flavored coffee from a tiny cup is hilarious. “Real men don’t coffee in tiny cups.”
– Sam is eye candy for the middle aged cougars in Bunny’s mansion.
– References from the board game Clue is funny. As Dean searches for any clue to the murders of some of Bunny’s relatives in the mansion, he stumbles on several recognizable items from the board game: a wrench, a rope, and a candlestick.
– Sam and Dean finally realize that they are dealing with a shape shifter when they discover a husk in one of the bedrooms. I still think the husk of any shape shifter is probably one of the grossest things in the world.
– The silver is not actually silver but stainless steel. Dean makes a big stink over the fact that the silverware is made in Taiwan, therefore it can not be silver.
– Bunny’s relative’s act like self centered, greedy little children, wanting their piece of Bunny’s inheritance, which makes them entertaining to watch.
– Bobby’s hunting past catches up with the Winchesters as they find out that Bobby let Bunny and her daughter go if she agrees to hide Olivia, Bunny’s shape shifting daughter away. Which is the inheritance that Bunny gives to Bobby; a key to the attic where Olivia’s been hiding all her life
– Olivia is the shape shifter posing as the maid, who has been killing Bunny’s relatives because she considers them not worthy of Bunny’s love.

The Bad

– Just when I thought Deanmon is completely gone, he had to shoot the shape shifter way too many times. Maybe it is the Mark taking over, or the demon, I don’t know. But it doesn’t look good.
– When Sam tried to ask Dean about shooting Olivia, Dean deflected the question and tries to assure him that he is alright, that is was his first monster kill in a long time and he just lost a little control. The look on Sam’s face spoke volumes.
– It looks like Sam doesn’t have the stomach to push Dean any further, like he said he would if Dean strayed just a little.Supernatural Ask Jeeves 02

It is definitely an enjoyable episode this week. It is like watching a really bad soap opera with a Supernatural twist added to it. Strangely enough, it worked. It is nice to see an old monster pop their heads in for this one. At the end of the episode, Sam is questioning his decision to go on the road with Dean after his stunt with Olivia. Is Dean really cured or is he pretending to be fine?
