Evil has arrived to the Star Wars universe in the form of actor Jason Isaacs! Isaacs will voice The Imperial Inquisitor, who will be one of the main villains on the new animated TV show. Isaacs has plenty of experience playing a villain in roles in projects like Harry Potter, The Patriot, and even Nickelodeon’s Avatar/Korra series’!
Isaacs has always impressed me in the villain role, so things should be no different here! I am really looking forward to seeing this new character in action.
“He’s cold, he’s analytical, he doesn’t get angry. We all took care to make sure our villains have real presence and our heroes just can’t walk all over him. This isn’t like cartoons I grew up with in the 80s where you’d have the villain lose every week and yet every week we’d have to believe he’s some sort of threat. When The Inquisitor shows up, it means something significant and it’s a definite challenge for our heroes.”

Star Wars Rebels will premiere with a one hour special on the Disney Channel and then move to Disney XD for the full run of the rest of season 1!
