I wasn’t a big fan of Disney Infinity 2.0. While it was fun at times, there were a lot of things that frustrated me about the game. I recently picked up the 3.0 series, well mostly because it is Star Wars centric, and it was worth it. There are a lot of improvements this time around and my wife and I are having a blast with it.
Disney Interactive has announced the first Marvel Playset within the 3.0 series called “Marvel Battlegrounds”, it will be all about Civil War. With the upcoming Captain America movie it is the perfect time for the set to come out and get kidseveryone into pitting superhero against superhero, well on a kid-friendly level at least. Check out the official info below and look for the set to hit stores this March. I just preordered mine today from Amazon and it is covered under the recent Prime 20% deal that just started.
Marvel Battlegrounds is a four-player, arcade-style brawler that allows you to battle with up to three friends locally. You get to play in 12 levels across eight all-new arenas, including Knowhere and Wakanda. You’ll also be able to battle as any playable Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition): Marvel Super Heroes figure, making Marvel Battlegrounds the Play Set with the largest selection of playable characters.
