Half the month is now behind us and it’s not long before deals and holiday releases will begin to arrive.
This week, the first installment of Minecraft: Story Mode – Episode 1: The Order of the Stone arrives for all platforms (save Wii U and 3DS). This will be the true test of whether a game without a plot can translate into a narrative game series. But, with Patton Oswalt on board providing voice talent, if you like Minecraft, it is worth checking out:
The new release I am most excited about is Yoshi’s Woolly World! The game borrows elements from the Yoshi’s Island series and, quite obviously, Kirby’s Epic Yarn. The game also features Amiibo integration:
Finally, Animal Gods, from Still Games, is going to be released on Steam! The game follows a priest named Thistle as he fights to prevent the release of ancient gods by a cult leader.
