I’m actually a pretty big fan of the ‘found footage’ format to shooting Horror films. Sometimes it’s done in boring ways like that horrible Halloween movie with Tyra Banks; but you can also get lucky, like the CBS Films, Afflicted. The movie stars Derek Lee and Clif Prowse as a couple of friends who scorn the wrong woman and things go seriously awry.
Afflicted has already won a lot of awards at TIFF and Sitges and it’s hoping to gain more exposure when it’s released in theaters and VOD on April 4th. Take a look at the creepy trailer and a couple of stills below!
