After it was revealed that Slade Wilson was alive and well in present day Starling City we all knew it wouldn’t be long until we got a look at him in his Deathstroke uniform! While we had a look at what we thought was Deathstroke on the Island in the first season, we are now treated to a whole new look for Slade’s version of the outfit! In the recent episode “Blind Spot”, Slade quickly eliminates Sebastian Blood’s bodyguards and then threatens that he is next if he doesn’t shape up! In that episode we got our first full look at Slade in all of his badassery! I can’t wait for a showdown between Deathstroke and Arrow!
Also in CW superhero news, The Flash has added to actors to it’s cast! Both Rick Cosnett (Vampire Diaries) and Danielle Panabaker (Piranha 3DD) are set to appear in the Grant Gustin lead off-shoot of Arrow featuring the Scarlet Speedster himself Barry Allen. Cosnett is set to play Eddie Thawne, who most people are speculating will become the Reverse Flash since the character has already been hinted at in the Arrow episode that introduced Allen’s backstory. In the comics Eobard Thawne is the Reverse Flash, so it isn’t to much of a far-fetched idea that these two characters are one and the same. Panabaker will play Caitlin Snow, who in the comics becomes villain Killer Frost. Her character is being described as a highly intelligent bioengineering expert who lost her fiancé during an explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs. Though the ice villain I am waiting for news on most is Captain Cold, we will take what we get for now! Keep it tooned here to DFAT for more news and updates regarding this exciting new series!
