Yesterday, we revealed the explosive trailer from Rocksteady’s upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight the other day, but we’re here to share with you some news tidbits and a ton of photos! The game revolves around some of Batman’s fiercest foes teaming up to take him down. So, the same as all of his game. Yet, this time around we have the title of ‘Arkham Knight’ and don’t quite know what that means.
You’d think it’s just a play on the usual moniker of ‘The Dark Knight,’ but it seems that Rocksteady is making the ‘Arkham Knight’ a playable character. I hope it’s someone that already exists in Batman’s canon, i.e. Jason Todd or Damian Wayne. I didn’t mind the inclusion of Copperhead in Arkham: Origins, but with such an extensive list of heroes and villains in the World ‘O Bats, they have plenty of people to choose from and don’t need to create a new one.
Until we figure out just who really is this Arkham Knight, enjoy some stills from the game. I’m just pumped to know that Kevin Conroy is back to voice our hero.
Also announced, as expected, the “exclusive” preorders have begun! Time to choose which store you are going to buy your copy of the game from! Wal-Mart has announced that if you get it from them you will get a skin for the Batmobile called the “Prototype Batmobile“. I think it’s pretty cool that we may see a few different versions of the classic car, here’s hoping that we get the Tim Burton and Animated Series ones!
Batman: Arkham Knight is due out on October 14th this year from Rocksteady. The game will be exclusive on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
