Rocksteady’s Batman trilogy is coming to a close with the 3rd installment Arkham Knight, and we here at Don’t Forget A Towel we couldn’t be more excited. Those games aren’t only great games in themselves, but capture the true essence of “Batman”.
The game is getting pushed back to 2015, but if that’s what is needed to touch things up and make it as good as can be, than we’re ok with that. What we’re even more ok with (especially Sony Playstation fans like myself) is how the PS4 will be getting exclusive content… and not just come new costume or weapon… it looks like an entire DLC adventure featuring the Scarecrow himself.
This will be part of what they are calling the “Scarecrow Nightmare Pack” and Playstation.com gives us the following description for the bonus content:
“Gotham falls victim to Scarecrow’s fear toxin, transforming the famous city into a twisted, hellish nightmare in the Batman: Arkham Knight Scarecrow Nightmare Pack,” it reads. “Tear through the city in the all-new batmobile and face off against a towering vision of Scarecrow and his undead army as they spread terror on the streets, available exclusively on PlayStation 4.”
The question remains though, is this timed-exclusive content? Will it eventually show up on the other platforms? Or will there be even more content missions released for all platforms to share. To be honest, it doesn’t really matter. All we care for right now is to get the actual game, and as of right now, rumor has it, it will be around February 24th, 2015.
