As if you needed any more reasons to be excited for Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson and Jude Law, Marvel has released the full cast list today. We’ll be seeing the return of Phil Coulson played by Clark Gregg, Ronan the Accuser played by Lee Pace, and Korath played by Djimon Hounsou. The latter two are members of the Kree Empire who are long-time opponents of the Skrulls; who will be the main protagonists throughout the film.
With the movie taking place in the 90s, this leads fans to believe that we’re going to learn a lot more about the MCU than we’ve previously seen. S.H.I.E.L.D. will be in it’s prime, and with the introduction of the Skrulls; maybe we’ll find out if some are left on Earth to wreck havoc in the future.
Synopsis:
The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Captain Marvel is due out March 8th, 2019
