I had the opportunity to get my hands on the new exclusive He-Man 1/6th scale figure by Mondo. This is the first in their new Masters of the Universe series, with Skeletor being the next and then Faker. Check out my unboxing video and photo gallery below.
I have a few post-video shoot thoughts on this figure:
- The shield grip is super annoying. I’m sorry, I understand the mechanics but it just doesn’t stay.
- The vintage head turned out a lot better than I had originally expected. The initial photos of it did not have me convinced but seeing it on the figure in person, I like it. It’s weird but it is a great replication of the original head and it fits in well with the set.
- At the bottom of the sheath is a crest that looks like Battle Cat’s helmet. I can’t even imagine what would happen if they made an in-scale Battle Cat figure…
