One of the biggest antagonists for Todd McFarlane‘s Spawn, is the hulking cybernetic baddie, Overtkill. A member of the Mafia, Nicholas Rocca, was set to defeat Spawn and actually did. He was later defeated, of course, but he was the first major enemy of Al Simmons.
I always knew him as a creation of Todd McFarlane, but the video below, actually shows him as a collaboration between McFarlane, Stan Lee, and Rob Leifield. Its a little crazy that Leifield designed a majority of the character’s look. Check out this amazing piece of comic book history below!
