With the announcement of HBO Max and more importantly, the Snyder Cut of Justice League; people are now wondering if the streaming platform would give another DC movie the ‘directors cut’ treatment. David Ayer recently spoke with Steve Frosty Weintraub of Collider via Twitter and explained it would be cathartic to him to see something not cut so much.
Take a look at the exchange below.
This is a good question. My cut would be easy to complete. It would be incredibly cathartic for me. It’s exhausting getting your ass kicked for a film that got the Edward Scissorhands treatment. The film I made has never been seen. https://t.co/FkeHAlNoV0

If HBO Max were to give Suicide Squad the same treatment that Justice League will receive, does that make you wanna sign up?
