There is no question that Iron Man gained his popularity thanks to Robert Downey Jr. and the Marvel Studios movies. The character had some great stories in the comics prior to the modern day and he has also received the plastic treatment more than a few times. Mezco Toyz‘ One: 12 Collective figures have redefined the six inch scale action figure and with their Invincible Iron Man they have done so once again.

I would just like to share a few thoughts post-unboxing and photo shoot. The figure is heavy as I mention, so be careful when displaying him in flying poses. There are cases of chipped paint and the only way that’s happening is if it falls into something. The bottom line is take care of your COLLECTOR GRADE figures. Always remember that prolonged usage of batteries can cause damage, replace them promptly or store your figure with them not installed. When unscrewing the battery compartment use a ‘eye glasses repair kit’ screwdriver. I used a standard screwdriver, and it worked, but I was afraid I may slip and scratch the figure. I must one more time express my love of the paint-job and real metal components on this figure. It’s like a new car. A shiny new car.
