Disney is reportedly in the process of expanding its popular multi-platform game Disney Infinity with its recently acquired Marvel and Star Wars properties. The game, originally released in August 2013, integrates game play with figurines, similar to the popular franchise Skylanders made by Activision.
Even while expanding the series to include more properties that will appeal to their audience, Disney Interactive is also eliminating hundreds of employees.
