It seems that yet another female-lead Marvel comic book will be hitting stands soon enough. Marvel released news at the “Meet Marvel” panel today that the Gwen Stacy: Spider-Woman, from the recent issue of Edge of Spider-Verse, will be receiving her very own solo series. This comes as no surprise after the huge response from comic lovers everywhere. She has become something of a fan favorite over the last month. There was even a recent recreation of the song she and her band, The Mary-Janes, played briefly in the issue, played by Married With Sea Monsters.
This brings the total upcoming and ongoing solo comics focusing on women to 10. I know I will be picking this up, how about you guys?
