Personally I wasn’t bothered by Final Fantasy XV being pushed back two months. I am a firm believer that if a studio would rather take its time and not push out an unfinished or refined product. Square Enix has a lot riding on this game and the hype train leading up to the game’s release has been quite impressive. Speaking of impressive check out the latest trailer for the game called ‘Omen’.
Damn. Well you can continue to count me in. I really enjoyed Kingsglaive (the CGI companion movie) and I still have to make time to watch the anime episodes. If they can get the gameplay right this could be one of the most impressive and epic Final Fantasy games ever.
Some news from the DLC front. FFXV will have a season’s pass attached to it for $25. It will give you access to 6 DLCs after the games launch and today we have some new details on them. First up and the most surprising of all is that their will be online co-op added to the game, yes you read that correctly. This is a game changer for the Final Fantasy series! With the success of the MMORPG FFXIV it looks like Square is ready to give their fans even more service by allowing us to finally go beyond the usual single player mode we’ve been delegated to for decades. Also being included in the DLC’s will be the ability to play as the other characters in the game, Gladio, Ignis and Prompto, in the main story mode. While I believe that each character will be its own DLC, I am not too clear on those details as of yet. So get ready Final Fantasy fans because on November 29th we just may have one of the best games ever in our hands… no pressure Square Enix.
