I happen to be a pretty big Disney fan. Besides Pixar, which is amazing of course, the company has been really impressing me the last few years. With, Bolt, Tangled, Princess & The Frog; I think the company is taking animation and story-telling to a new level.
Below, we have some information on the studio’s newest effort, Frozen. The film is based off the Hans Christian Anderson story ‘The Snow Queen.’ The music comes from Robert Lopez, (The Book of Mormon, Avenue Q); which is a pretty bold choice for Disney, given that both of those productions would receive a very HARD-R rating in the theatre. Frozen also features the voice talent of Idina Menzel (Wicked) and Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars).

The film is directed by Chris Buck (Tarzan, Surf’s Up) and Jennifer Lee (screenwriter, Wreck-It Ralph), and produced by Peter Del Vecho (Winnie the Pooh, The Princess and the Frog). Featuring music from Tony winner Robert Lopez (“The Book of Mormon,” “Avenue Q”) and Kristen Anderson-Lopez (“In Transit”), Frozen is in theaters in 3D on November 27, 2013.
