Turn-based strategy game Sigma Theory: Global Cold War to get a 1.0 release on November 21th
The exciting spy-adventure simulation gets a full release on November 21th
Lyon, France – November 2019 – The French independent developer Mi-Clos Studio has announced today that their new near-future spy simulation game Sigma Theory: Global Cold War will get a 1.0 launch on Steam (PC, Mac and Linux) on November 21th, 2019. Currently in early Access, Sigma Theory allows players to set up their own intelligence agency, recruit elite spies, and bribe, seduce and assassinate their way to world domination.
After 6 months of a lively Early Access, the game is now a fully-featured turn-based strategy game with several game modes such as Classic, Custom and the first episode of the Story Mode. The player can recruit their spy team from a cast of more than 60 unique and diverse characters The game’s balance has been fine-tuned with the help of the community to offer the best experience. From the in-situation spy exfiltration to the world-wide world dominations strategy, Sigma Theory is the complete, exciting spy adventure inspired by the spy-culture you can find in classic books.
Not only the elite agents, but cutting-edge technology will also play an important role in Sigma Theory. From drone fleets to hacking, players will have to use all the tools at their disposal to eliminate hostile agents and to protect their own. Players will send their spies on a variety of missions across the globe: to gather intel, cooperate with armed groups, engage in high-level diplomacy, steal crucial tech, recruit new scientists or forcibly extract them if they refuse to go willing. A mix of tactical and strategic turn-based gameplay, Sigma Theory’s dynamic story will change depending on the player’s choices, allowing for multiple distinct endings.
