It’s hard not to be excited about this series but at the same time a Gotham TV show without the Batman is a strange concept. I can get behind what they are trying to do, and after this first trailer I will definitely give it a shot. I am just hoping that the execs over at DC Comics and WB decide to tie their TV worlds together. Take a look and decide for yourself!
No word on an exact premiere date, but look for it sometime late 2014. The first season has been officially picked up by Fox, so that’s good news for everyone involved. The pilot episode for Gotham is written by The Mentalist‘s Bruno Heller, directed/produced by Danny Cannon (CSI), and stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Mazouz, Robin Lord Taylor, Cory Michael Smith, and Camren Bicondova.
