Brett Ratner and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are Thracian-deep in the making of a Hercules film right now. It’s being described as “a revisionist take on the classic myth set in a grounded world where the supernatural does not exist.” Personally, that sounds boring to me, since the figure of Hercules is steeped in legend. I love that mythology, but I’m also a fan of Johnson, so we’ll see how it goes. I just hope we’re not seeing another Scorpion King. Check out some pictures of the film, via Johnson’s Twitter account.
