First it was oddly announced by Conan O’Brien via Twitter , but then it was confirmed by WB Home Video , it is now official the 1960’s Batman TV series will finally be getting the DVD release it deserves!! After years of being held up in a merchandising nightmare (thanks to Fox owning the rights to the show and Warner Bros/DC Comics owning the rights to the products), we have been slowly seeing the release of swag from this great era of the Dark Knight. Highlights so far have been an action figure line from Mattel, and a comic series from DC Comics. But now finally we can own all 120 campy episodes of this classic show.
