This week D’Avin gets the answers he seeks from someone in his past.  There is no Warrant issued out this time.  Dutch and Johnny help D’Avin with his broken memories.

Killjoys Kiss Kiss Bye Bye 01

  • D’Avin, Dutch and Johnny find another soldier, Grayson Hicks, who suffers the same broken memory within a mental institution.
  • Hicks leads them to a black market space station, Utopia, where they find Dr. Jaeger’s former assistant. She tells them where to find Dr. Jaeger.
  • Johnny is intrigued with Dutch’s neurolink device and asks a techno hacker on board Utopia to help fix the device so that he back trace any clue as to where Khlyen is located.
  • Dutch is arrested by Company guards for kidnapping a Company mental patient, Hicks. Dell Seyah of the Nines appears and makes deal with her.  She will convince the Company to drop all charges if Dutch does a favor down the line, no questions asked.  Dutch counter offers.  She will help her if she can have Dr. Jaeger for a day with no consequences from the Company.
  • D’Avin and Dutch roll around in the bed, but Johnny catches them and runs off. Johnny is worried that their little sexcapade will result in having him choose sides in the end.  He knows that he will have to pick Dutch over his brother.
  • Amanda Tapping plays Dr. Jaeger. She plays the villain rather well.  Dutch, Johnny, and D’Avin find her at a Company Medical Black Site.  She tells D’Avin that it was he who asked her to remove his memories of what he did.  But now he wants them back as a reminder and punishment for his action.
  • Back on the ship, Dutch and D’Avin have a heart to heart about their bloody, dark past and that keeping those moemories out can be a good thing.
  • Jaeger triggers something in D’Avin’s mind and he behaves like a emotionless killing machine. Dutch fights him off and barely defeat him.  She goes back to find Jaeger and stop her, while Johnny baby sits him in the ship.
  • D’Avin stabs Johnny and is gravely wounded. Johnny tells Lucy  to call a doctor.
  • Dutch finds Jaeger at the Black Site. She finds out that Jaeger was using D’Avin military training for the Company.  She would program soldiers to attack and detain their own unit, but D’Avin went too far and killed his own men.
  • When Dutch tried to forcibly order Jaeger to turn D’Avin off or she will be forced to kill her, Jaeger chose the gun. Dutch decided to wipe her memories completely.  Fortunately, Jaeger did turn off D’Avin.
  • Pawter Simms comes on board and finds Johnny bleeding out. She saves his life.
  • Johnny doesn’t blame D’Avin for stabbing him. D’Avin wants Dutch to understand that it wasn’t him who attacked her, but he can remember everything.  Dutch knows that it wasn’t him, but tells him that she is afraid that she can be one day, because of Khlyen’ training.

D’Avin’s nightmare is over.  Even though his memories have not returned, his journey to the truth is complete.  On the other hand, Dutch’s demon is still out there and she must find him before it is too late for her and her crew.
