Hello everybody!
I sincerely hope you’ve already done all your holiday shopping by this point; we’re only two days away till that magical time where even adults feel like kids. (at least I know I do).
Are you sure you haven’t forgotten anyone? Don’t worry if you have… these things happen. Slipped your mind. Well, if you did, here are some ideas that you can pick up today (or tomorrow) at your local Best Buy, Target, Walmart, or wherever. And best of all, these all cost anywhere between $15-$40!
For those movie lovers, some good ones have been recently released including Kick-Ass 2, Wolverine, Man of Steel, At Words End, or even something old, but still a cool collection to have, the Terminator Anthology (which induces 1 through 3 and Salvation).
For any kids out there (or toy collectors of all ages) there are a couple cool ones that I’ve enjoyed myself, like the recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the quality is surprisingly good), or even better, one of the Star Wars Black Series 6-inch figurines.
For that games out there, you have a large selection under $40, but your best bet would be for The Last of Us. Hands down, this is the best game I have ever played. Seriously, I have had friends over who don’t even like games, and they saw this on and were astonished at the quality of it.
Or you can take the book route at a Barnes & Noble or local bookstore, and go classic with something like the original graphic novel Watchmen or for those zombie fans, get the Walking Dead: Book 1 which collects the first 12 issues of the famous comic that lead to the great show we all watch and love.
Other books can include Ender’s Game, (of which the latest movie just came out for) – pretty good book, and works for a younger audience as well. Or, one of my all time favorite books, The Time Traveler’s Wife; a perfect blend of suspense, love/romance, and science fiction to create a great, emotional and memorable story!
Well, that’s about it. We here at Don’t Forget A Towel wish you GREAT HOLIDAYS and hope you enjoy every moment of it!

For Walking Dead fans out there, who have not read the comics, I would highly suggest the Walking Dead Compendiums. There are two so far and they collect a crap load of the comics (50 or so issues each) it’s the best bang for your buck! I got both of mine for around $25/30 each. Now just to find the time to read ’em!
