Towelites! It’s time once again to round up the latest news and rumors surrounding Marvel Studio’s Phase 2!
The surprise casting of Robert Redford in the up coming Captain America sequel took some geeks by surprise. Redford will most likely be playing a high ranking SHIELD Agent named Pierce, but the role is still masked in secrecy. Here’s what he had to say to the LA Times:
“I’m doing this film because it’s different. It’s a new thing for me,” he explained during a Q&A as part of the L.A. Times Indie Focus Screening Series “I like the idea of stepping into new territory. I’m excited by it. I also think it’s a good bunch of people who really know what they’re doing.”
