In a historic turn of events, McFarlane Toys has signed a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. to start releasing DC Multiverse figures; and we couldn’t be happier. Mattel has honestly been stinking up their figures for YEARS and making them look worse than Hasbro’s Black Series line; which is saying a lot. (I know, I know, they HAVE been getting better but still). McFarlane started out making epic toys created by the 4 Horsemen and then all of a sudden decided to lose articulation on the toys. Now, with the Fortnite figures, things are back to being more TOY-like and a lot less ‘inaction figures’. Read more about this craziness below!
“This partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC will be great fun for my company, and a chance to deliver products that millions of fans of the DC brand have been asking for,” said Todd McFarlane, Owner and CEO of McFarlane Toys. “The DC universe has captivated the world and to be able to play in that ‘sandbox’ now makes me feel like a kid all over again. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.”
The DC Multiverse collector figures and related toys will be available at major retail locations beginning in 2020. Fans of both McFarlane Toys and DC can check www.mcfarlane.com and the McFarlane Toys social media channels for updates and news, www.mcfarlane.com; www.instagram.com/mcfarlane_
