I am super excited to show you guys the much anticipated trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s latest film, Noah; starring an amazing cast which includes Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, and Emma Watson. Why much anticipated? Because Aronofsky happens to be my all time favorite director. In fact, when one of my closest friends had me watch Pi (Aronofsky’s first, independent, black & white film) in college, I was so impressed I changed my major the very next week to Film (thanks Charles!).
For those of you who don’t know, Darren Aronofsky has an amazing track record of films, which consist of Pi, Requiem For A Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler, and his latest, Black Swan. If you’ve seen any of these, then you know how intense and emotional his movies can be. And considering the subject of Noah, I think we’re in for a treat. Not to mention, Darren Aronofsky turned down the latest Robocop and Wolverine to make this film, which he reports to have been on his To-Do list since he was a kid.
As you will see from the trailer, he’s taken some liberties with the Biblical story, but I feel that might be the perfect touch to bring out the epic quality of this story. Movie hits theatres March 18th, 2014. Check out the trailer below. You excited?!
